Brow Lift
Brow lift eliminates forehead lines, restores eyebrows to their original position and shape, and makes the nose appear longer. In young and middle-aged patients, eyebrow lifting is usually sufficient alone, while eyelid aesthetics, forehead and temple stretching procedures can be added in elderly patients.
Surgical Methods
There are three eyebrow lifting methods. These are limited incision method, open brow lift, an endoscopic brow lift. The endoscopic brow lift is the most popular option today because its results are permanent and leave no visible scars.
Type of Anesthesia and Duration of the Procedure
General anesthesia is applied in hospital conditions and the procedure takes an average of 1-2 hours.
Recovery time
Patients are discharged on or after the operation day. Swelling and bruising can be seen for 2-3 days. There is almost no risk of bleeding with the endoscopic brow lift method. With the permission of their doctor, patients can take a shower and bath 2 days after discharge and return to work 3 days later.
